Strategic Montessori Therapy Center is a center-based program providing Montessori-inspired ABA therapy for preschool-aged children with autism in Mercer County, NJ.
Founded in 2020 as an in-home service and expanded into a dedicated center in 2023, we offer a structured setting designed to support early learning and development.
Our center is owned and operated by two licensed behavior analysts with over 20 years of combined experience. We focus on understanding how each child learns and building individualized programs that support communication, independence, and school readiness.
Through one-on-one therapy and small group interaction, we create a supportive environment where children can grow with consistency and confidence.
Our Philosophy
We believe progress starts with understanding the child in front of us.
Our approach combines the structure of ABA therapy with elements of Montessori-style learning, allowing children to explore, engage, and build skills in a way that feels natural and supportive.
Rather than forcing a fixed method, we adjust our teaching based on how each child responds. Some children need repetition, others need movement, and some need time. We meet them where they are and build from there.
The goal is not just short-term improvement, but helping children develop independence, confidence, and the ability to navigate everyday environments.
Health and Safety
We maintain a clean, structured, and secure environment to support both safety and consistency throughout the day.
All staff members are CPR certified and trained to follow established safety protocols. Daily routines are designed to reduce overwhelm while keeping children engaged and comfortable.
Our facility also uses controlled access to ensure that only authorized individuals are present, giving families added peace of mind.
