About Us
Artist Biography
Déjà Vu (born Jeremy Everett) hails from New Orleans and grew up in Kenner, Louisiana, a gritty suburb that shaped his artistic perspective. His life story is one of resilience: at just four years old, he experienced the devastating loss of his birth mother, leaving him to navigate the pain of abandonment at an impossibly young age.
His grandmother, affectionately known as “Big Mama,” became his anchor. She recognised his potential and guided him to channel his pain and rage into something creative. By age nine, Déjà Vu was already crafting his own rhythms, tapping beats on his chest and flowing over them with raw, instinctive talent.
As a rising trap artist, gospel rapper, and multi-genre recording artist, Déjà Vu creates music rooted in emotion, truth, struggle, growth, and perseverance. His artistry blends impactful storytelling with versatile sounds that range from Trap, Hip Hop, and Pop to Gospel-inspired music, while remaining grounded in authenticity.
Today, Déjà Vu continues building his legacy as a respected independent recording artist, using music as a platform to inspire, connect, and reflect real-life experiences through powerful lyrics and unforgettable performances.
