Industrial coatings are essentially a type of paint that is applied on various derivatives like concrete or steel. It’s caked on in a way that is designed to be both aesthetic as well as protective. There are many different kinds of industrial coatings. Polymers are frequently used as an industrial coating. Waterborne polyurethanes have been developed as an important polymer material for waterborne industrial coatings. They have been widely used in wood, metal, glass, Interior and exterior wall coatings, metal surface treatment and other industrial coatings.
35% Solid content, NMP and DMAC free. The coatings formed by them dry quickly, and have high hardness, high gloss, excellent abrasion resistance, and good alcohol resistance. They mainly be used in wood & furniture for 1K coatings with self-crosslinking traits at room temperature.
Aromatic waterborne polyurethane. Its film has high hardness, excellent heat and wear resistance. It can be used in wood coating and industrial coatings.
30% Solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are cationic waterborne polyurethanes. They can be applied to wood primer to seal tannin to prevent the coating from yellowing.
33-35% Solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are based on polyester. SiwoPUD®-OH-903 has a low content of hydroxyl group, SiwoPUD®-OH-1538 contains high hydroxyl content. They mainly be used in 2-pack systems with water-dispersible polyisocyanate crosslinker. It is suggested that SiwoPUD®-OH-903 is crosslinked with 10-15% water-dispersible polyisocyanate, SiwoPUD®-OH-1538 is crosslinked with 20-25% water-dispersible polyisocyanate to maximize performance properties after 5-7 days.
NMP and DMAC free. They are waterborne polyurethanes based on polycarbonate with 50% and 35% solid content respectively. They exhibit excellent water resistance, adhesion, abrasion resistance, light fastness, and hydrolysis resistance. They are ideal materials for elastic construction coatings.
Anionic polyurethane dispersions with high molecular weight. Their coatings have high hardness, and excellent adhesion to metal, glass and other substrates. They have excellent water resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, high weather resistance, and stain resistance. They can be used for metal, glass, wood coating and industrial coatings, etc.
They exhibit excellent adhesion, abrasion resistance, UV resistance, and water resistance.
Aromatic waterborne polyurethane, 33% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. Its coating has medium hardness. In particular, it has excellent adhesion on PVC. It can be widely used in leather, rubber and PVC etc.
SiwoPUD®-1620X and SiwoPUD®-1591HB are anionic waterborne polyurethane, SiwoPUD®-2417 and SiwoPUD®-1219HB are cationic waterborne polyurethane. They are suitable for different customer’s formula, depending on the acidity and alkalinity of the anti-rust additives. They have excellent heat resistance and resistance to salt spray.
