SiwoPUD®-U-80X

Tough as Timber. Built for Performance.

Characteristics:

It is an aqueous anionic polyurethane dispersion of a high molecular weight. It is a raw material for formulation of heat-activated adhesives for use in, for example, the furniture, automotive, and construction industries. U-80X provides high solids content, and is particularly suitable for applications involving flexibilized PVC substrates.

Supplied as:

50% in water

Storage:

The dispersion should be stored in a frost-free place in tightly sealed containers. It contains no preservative.

Application:

When durability is non-negotiable, U-80X steps up. This aliphatic/polyester-based polyurethane dispersion is engineered for hard, high-strength film formation—perfect for applications that need a solid surface with superior adhesion and structural integrity. Whether you’re coating timber, PVC, or select packaging materials, U-80X brings the performance to match your precision.

With a solid content of 50±1%, this PUD builds a dense, reliable film with excellent mechanical properties, giving your coatings the backbone they need for industrial and commercial demands. The film’s hardness and strength make it particularly suited for rigid or semi-rigid substrates that require a tough finish without sacrificing clarity or workability.

What makes U-80X stand out is its NMP-free formulation—an increasingly important feature in today’s environmentally conscious coating solutions. You get top-tier performance without compromising safety or regulatory compliance. The polymer structure offers excellent resistance to abrasion, handling, and mechanical stress, all while maintaining compatibility with multiple surface types.

Whether you’re developing wood finishes, protective packaging films, or PVC coatings that need to hold up under pressure, U-80X delivers a rock-solid foundation. It’s where toughness meets innovation.

So if your project demands a polyurethane dispersion that’s strong, clean, and made for modern manufacturing, U-80X is your answer.
