With a solid content of 30±1%, SiwoPUD-2417 forms a film with medium hardness and remarkable protective qualities. It’s non-yellowing, has excellent abrasion resistance, and holds up against heat and salt spray, making it ideal for harsh or high-performance environments. Add to that its excellent water resistance, and you’ve got a PUD that stands strong where others might break down.

What sets this dispersion apart is its formulation. It is completely NMP, NEP, and DMAC free, helping your end products meet increasingly strict environmental standards—without compromising quality or function. The ionicity is cationic, with a pH range of 3.5–5.5, making it suitable for specialty coatings that require a more aggressive surface interaction.

In terms of physical application, SiwoPUD-2417 doesn’t just perform—it performs quickly. Expect a dry-to-touch time of ≤30 minutes, with dry-through completion in ≤60 minutes. Its shear stability is excellent, and the mean particle size remains under 200 nm, giving you uniform coverage and smooth, translucent finishes. Despite the absence of preservatives, it maintains product integrity when stored in tightly sealed containers in frost-free environments.

Mechanically, it strikes a strong balance between flexibility and strength. The film boasts an elongation of 500%, tensile strength of 14.3 MPa, and a 100% modulus of 2.9 MPa, ensuring that coatings hold firm while withstanding physical stress and environmental exposure.
