The non-volatile constituent clocks in at 35±1%, giving the product ideal film-building capabilities without unnecessary weight. Its translucent appearance and mean particle size of ≤100 nm ensure consistent coverage and minimal surface disturbance, while its low viscosity of ≤200 mPa·s makes it easy to apply even in complex manufacturing environments. Thanks to its pH range of 3.5–5.5, SiwoPUD-1219HB maintains excellent substrate compatibility while avoiding reactivity issues common in acidic or alkaline systems.

But where this polyurethane dispersion really shines is in flexibility and stretch. With elongation between 900–1000%, the film stretches without losing structure. A tensile strength of 5.1 MPa combined with an elasticity modulus (100%) of 1.0 MPa allows the coating to bend and recover under stress—essential for fashion leather goods, upholstery, and flexible textile products.
