Aqueous, anionic dispersions of high molecular weight polyurethanes have different heat-activated temperature and different performances on different substrates. They are especially suitable for the manufacturing of heat-activated adhesives with outstanding bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials. They have been widely used in timber, PVC, shoe, automotive interior, magnetic card, fabric, heat transfer printing, as well as elastomer substrate and other substrates bonding.
The following are a few of our waterborne polyurethanes used in adhesive applications:
50% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are both amorphous polymers, and soft and elastic. U-100 is based on polyether, and has a heat activation temperature of 100℃. Suitable for the bonding of textile, leather, rubber substrates. U-1675 is based on polyester, dries slowly and is a bit sticky at room temperature, easy to print. It is especially suitable for textile printing and bonding etc.
45% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are both based on polycarbonate. U-1529 has a heat activation temperature of 90℃, U-1210 has a heat activation temperature of 140℃. Fast film drying, resistance to bond after drying, excellent adhesion, high bond strength and better heat resistance are their biggest characteristics. Suitable for laminated film, magnetic card manufacturing, bonding automotive interior, plastic and elastomer substrate bonding.
50% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are both based on polyester, and fast crystallization. U-50 has a heat activation temperature of 50℃, U-80X has a heat activation temperature of 70-80℃. They have outstanding bonding properties on the most synthetic and natural materials. Suitable for use in the furniture, footwear automotive, and construction industries, and is particularly suitable for applications involving flexible PVC substrates.
50% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are both based on polyester. U-5701 has a heat activation temperature of 70-80℃, U-5702 has a heat activation temperature of 100-110℃. Their films are soft and have excellent elasticity, high strength. Suitable for fabric coating, thermal transfer, plastic and elastomer substrate bonding, bonding automotive interior.
35-40% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. The films have high strength, adhesion and thermal activation performance at high temperature. They crystallize faster and have better initial adhesion. Suitable for heat seal and laminating adhesives, blister varnish.
