One of those glorious summer evenings on the Oregon Coast. A family looking to capture memories while visiting their favorite place, Cannon Beach. During our golden hour session this family and kiddos were acting goofy and having fun while we explored the shoreline and enjoyed the views of Haystack Rock. Starting on the grassy dunes overlooking the ocean we made our way down to the beach photographing an array of candid and group family pictures.<\/p>\n

Cannon Beach is an all around awesome place for families. From the ice cream store, Bruces Candy Kitchen, art galleries, the toy store and plenty of great food options. It\u2019s super fun just walking around town to see what shops you can find. Aside from town there are so many beautiful options for hiking and state parks. Ecola State Park is in the north part of Cannon Beach and is a must see. Hug Point and Oswald West to the south are fantastic beaches. A trip to Seaside can be great as well with the arcade and even more to see. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I love the honor of photographing with families on consecutive years. Getting to know each other and watching as the kids and family grow each year. So many fun times walking around on the sand and creating memories together. Having a soccer ball to kick around made for some great father son moments on this session. I have a bin of fun beach toys that I\u2019ll bring along on sessions to help keep the little ones excited and make for those big smiles. \ud83d\ude42 We even had time for photos with the grandparents as well. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The golden hour light creates a soft and warm tone perfect for photos with the addition of colorful sunset skies. On this evening there were reflections of the vivid sunset on the water with a fresh sea mist hugging the rocks and trees. These photos were especially stunning. There are so many variations of light while photographing outdoors and on the beach. Every part of the day can look absolutely stunning on the Oregon Coast with the incredible natural beauty around. <\/p>\n

It was amazing photographing with Rachael\u2019s family again this year and look forward to capturing more memories in the future! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
